5. Macroevolution One kind of animal changing into a different kind. “Nobody’s ever seen such a thing.”

The propaganda poster used in public schools showing humans related to frogs particularly irks Dr. Hovind: “You can believe that if you want. This is a propaganda poster, it’s not science. Nobody’s ever seen a frog produce a non-frog. Never.”
Scientific Evidence for a Young Earth
Dr. Hovind’s conversion to young earth creationism began as a teenager reading Genesis 5: “The Bible says Adam was 130 when his son was born. It gives the dates right there. So I said, let’s make a chart. That’s basically all you gotta do is add up the dates in the Bible and you’ll find the Bible teaches the earth is about 6,000 years old, not millions.”

“The oceans are gaining salt every day. Today there are 3.6% salt. They gain salt every day. They could have gone from zero to 3.6% in less than 5,000 years. If the oceans are billions of years old, why aren’t they saltier like the Dead Sea or the Great Salt Lake?”
The Declining Magnetic Field
“The earth has a magnetic field, but the magnetic field’s getting weaker. We’re losing our magnetic strength. That proves it can’t be billions of years old. At the rate we’re losing our magnetic field, we’d have been fried by radiation if we go back millions of years.”
Evolutionists respond with the theory that the magnetic field reverses, which Dr. Hovind calls “absolutely stupid. That’s not even possible, let alone observable or scientific.”
The Slowing Earth Rotation
“The earth is spinning, but it slows down a thousandth of a second every day. That’s why they have leap seconds.” This creates a massive problem for old earth theories.
“If you want to say the earth is 6,000 years old, that’s not a problem. It was spinning a little faster when Adam was here. They wouldn’t even notice. They didn’t have a watch anyway. But we can’t have billions of years. You try to go back billions of years and this creates a problem.”
The Moon Is Leaving Us
Perhaps the most compelling evidence Dr. Hovind presents is the moon recession problem.
“The moon goes around the earth. The moon spins around once every 27 days, it also goes around the earth once every 27 days, which means the same side is always facing us, called gravitational locking. The moon is about 239,000 miles away from the earth, but the moon is leaving us about an inch and a half a year.”
This is well-documented by NASA, Forbes, Space.com, and The Atlantic. The problem? “If the moon is getting farther away, that means it used to be closer.”
Here’s where the inverse square law destroys old earth chronology: “If you brought the moon in from its current distance to one third the distance, you take that fraction one third, inverse it, flip it over and square it. It’d be nine times the gravitational pull at one third the distance.”
The implications are catastrophic for evolutionary timelines: “They’ve done the studies. They say the lunar orbit collapses, snaps together like two magnets, a little over a billion years ago. If you brought the moon back in closer, pretty soon like two magnets, it just snaps together. 1.2 billion years ago. Why are we telling the kids it’s 4.6 billion then?”
Dr. Hovind’s conclusion: “If you need billions of years for your theory, get a new theory. That one is stupid. You can’t have billions of years.”

“Here’s two facts. Nobody argues. It is seven inches tall. It’s burning an inch an hour. I can tell you when it’s going to go out in seven hours. Can I tell you when it was lit? No. How tall was it when it started? I don’t know. You have to make some assumptions.”
The Three Unprovable Assumptions
Every radiometric dating method requires three assumptions that cannot be verified:
- Initial content: “You cannot know the initial content of the object when it was alive.”
- Constant decay rate: “You cannot know the rate of decay has always been the same.”
- No contamination: “You cannot know that there’s been no contamination.”
“In any honest court of law, none of the radioactive dating methods would hold up. Radio carbon 14, carbon 13, potassium argon, rubidium argon. They all have the same assumptions.”
Circular Reasoning Exposed
Dr. Hovind reveals the most damaging problem: “They use circular reasoning to date rocks, to date the fossils and fossils to date the rocks. It’s pure insanity what they do with that stuff.”
“Fossils are really dated by their position in the geologic column. In 1830, they made up this absolutely stupid geologic column and they claim that all the layers are different ages.”
But here’s the fatal flaw: “How can that dirt be a different age than that dirt? Is dirt coming from outer space? Every speck of dirt in the world is the same age. There is no such thing as a geologic column.”

“We have overwhelming scientific evidence that the earth used to have 35% oxygen. The air we’re breathing is 21%. If you lived in a world with 35% oxygen and greater air pressure, breathing would be exciting. You could run for hundreds of miles.”
Science Magazine published research on “Super Lungs Gave Dinosaurs Energy to Run and Fight.” When scientists extract air bubbles from amber (petrified tree sap), they find shocking results: “50% more oxygen than we have today.”
Time Magazine reported 40 years ago: “32% oxygen compared to 21 today.” Another study stated: “80 million years ago was 50% richer in oxygen.”
How This Explains 900-Year Lifespans
“Not only does your hemoglobin carry oxygen around your body like it’s supposed to, the plasma will get oxygen saturated. You could run for hundreds of miles and never get tired.”
This provides the mechanism for Genesis 5’s genealogies where people routinely lived 900+ years. “After the flood, drops off to 400 in Genesis 11, and then down to 200, then down to 100. And today, hardly anybody makes it to 100.”
The climate change wasn’t gradual. It was catastrophic. “That canopy was gone. They weren’t living long. The air’s expanded, less air pressure, less oxygen, more UV light coming in without that crystal canopy.”
Why Giants Existed
Greater oxygen and air pressure explains not just long lifespans but also the Nephilim and giant animals: “The only way you can explain the giant insect fossils, the giant reptile fossils we call dinosaurs, and the giant people that have been found. There was a different world.”
Dinosaurs: The Biblical Perspective
“Dinosaurs always lived with man. They were just big lizards. The word dinosaur means terrible lizard. Before the flood came, people lived to be 900. Reptiles never stopped growing. Even today, they never stop growing. What would happen if a reptile could live to be 900? It gets 60 feet long.”

“The dinosaurs were big lizards with Adam and Eve. Noah took them on the ark. Probably babies. Just be sure to get a pink one and a blue one.”
After the flood, two factors eliminated most dinosaurs:
1. Climate Change “Probably some of the dinosaurs, probably the Brachiosaur, they probably couldn’t even live long enough to reach maturity. So they would die off from climate change.”
2. Human Hunting “People hunted them. They called them dragons.”

Dr. Hovind called Bird’s Eye frozen food company to understand the physics: “I said, if I stuck an elephant in the freezer, what would happen? It was real quiet on the other end of the line. Finally, one guy said, well, you’d have a crowded freezer.”
After the laughter: “How long would it take to freeze an elephant? He said, about five days because the outside is going to freeze and trap the heat inside. I said, how can I freeze my elephant in five hours? He said, well, you got two choices. Cut it up into little pieces or stick it in liquid nitrogen 300 below zero.”
Outer space is that cold. “When that crystal canopy gets shattered, it gets sucked in and dumped on the North and South Pole and buries the animal standing up.”
Why the Ice Age Centered on the Magnetic North Pole
“If you look at Ice Age maps, the ice came further south into America. It came all the way to Southern Illinois. But in Russia, it didn’t go as far down. The Ice Age is centered around the magnetic North Pole, not the real North Pole.”
Why? “Because it’s connected with the Earth’s magnetic field and the ice being sucked in and dumped there.”
Continental Shelves Explained
As the ice caps grew massive, the oceans shrank because water was frozen at the poles. This made continents bigger, explaining continental shelves.
“In Pensacola, you have to go out 100 miles before it drops off to get 100 feet deep. If you lowered the ocean just 200 feet, everything is connected.”

“How do they get weather patterns? They say the sun is only 27 miles in diameter and it goes in a circle above the earth like a flashlight. What’s causing it to change? If the sun is up there going around in a circle, you should never have darkness. How do you get darkness and night on a flat earth? How do you get time zones?”
His solution: “Call somebody in Australia. What time is it? Oh, it’s three in the morning. What are you doing calling me?”
The verdict: “The earth is a round ball and it’s silly to use that argument. They can believe what they want, but I’m not falling for it.”
Evolution’s Deadly Legacy

Modern globalists understand this: “There are those who would like a one world government, a new world order. You can’t have people believing they have rights that come from God. They’re a threat to your dream of your one world government, which is satanic.”
